Benjamin J. Blamo is a chemical engineer who lectures at the University of Liberia Graduate School of Public Health and the Graduate School of Environmental Sciences and Climate Change. Mr. Blamo is the Technical Lead for Liberia in STOP Spillover’s Food, Water, Air, Climate, Livelihoods and Economics, and Policy and Security Resource Hub. He brings experience in environmental toxicology, chemical safety and health, pollution prevention and control, waste management, occupational health and safety, food safety, and climate change. Mr. Blamo previously worked at the National Public Health Institute of Liberia and served as the National Focal Point for Chemical Safety and Liberia’s Focal Point to the Global Chemicals and Health Network of the World Health Organization.
