Dr. Dan Haydon is a Professor of Population Ecology and Epidemiology at the University of Glasgow. He is the STOP Spillover Surveillance/Risk Assessment Co-Coordinator and Co-Lead of the project’s Wildlife, Livestock, Epidemiology, Behavior Change, and Gender Strategy Resource Hub. His work includes theoretical and quantitative approaches to infectious disease ecology and One Health issues. Since 2010, Dr. Haydon has served as the founding Director of the Institute of Biodiversity, Animal Health and Comparative Medicine at the University of Glasgow’s College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences.
