Dr. Deborah Turner Kochevar

STOP Spillover Project Director

Dr. Deborah Turner Kochevar served for 12 years as dean and Henry and Lois Foster Professor at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and subsequently as provost ad interim for Tufts University. Dr. Kochevar is the STOP Spillover Project Director, Professor of Comparative Pathobiology, and a Senior Fellow at the Fletcher School at Tufts. She brings expertise in translational medicine, the international aspects of interprofessional One Health education, and global One Health diplomacy. Dr. Kochevar holds a D.V.M. degree, a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology, and a Master of Global Business Administration. She can be reached at Deborah.Kochevar@tufts.edu.
