Dr. William A. Masters is a Professor of Food Economics and Policy in the Friedman School of Nutrition and the Department of Economics at Tufts University. Dr. Masters’ research concerns the economics of agricultural production, food markets, and health. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Stanford University and is an elected Fellow of the U.S. Agricultural and Applied Economics Association, an International Fellow of the African Association of Agricultural Economists, and coauthor of the undergraduate textbook Economics of Agricultural Development: World Food Systems and Resource Use (4th ed., 2021).
