James Muleme

Technical Lead for Uganda in STOP Spillover’s Food, Water, Air, Climate, Livelihoods and Economics, and Policy and Security Resource Hub

James Muleme is a Research Associate in the Department of Disease Control and Environmental Health at Makerere University. He is the Technical Lead for Uganda in STOP Spillover’s Food, Water, Air, Climate, Livelihoods and Economics, and Policy and Security Resource Hub. Mr. Muleme has experience in veterinary preventive medicine, public health, infectious disease, and environmental epidemiology at the human-animal-environment interface. He has participated in outreach and interventions in Zambia, South Sudan, and across Uganda, with a special interest in the cattle corridors and communities surrounding game parks.
