Dr. Daniele Lantagne is a STOP Spillover Consultant and a Research Professor at the Feinstein International Center at Tufts University, with a co-appointment in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Community Health. Over the past 23 years, she has provided technical assistance and conducted research in more than 50 countries in Africa, Asia, and Central/South America in development and humanitarian response contexts. Dr. Lantagne’s primary research interest is reducing the burden of infectious diseases by investigating and evaluating the effectiveness of water, sanitation, and hygiene interventions. She initially trained as an engineer and received her Ph.D from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Lantagne can be reached at Daniele.Lantagne@tufts.edu.
