Dr. Diafuka Saila-Ngita

Co-Lead of STOP Spillover’s Surveillance, Mapping, and Modeling Resource Hub

Dr. Diafuka Saila-Ngita is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Infectious Disease and Global Health at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, Tufts University. Dr. Saila-Ngita is the Co-Lead of STOP Spillover’s Surveillance, Mapping, and Modeling Resource Hub. He is a veterinarian and an economist with three decades of international experience spanning the human, livestock, and wildlife sectors, including several years in Africa. Dr. Saila-Ngita holds a D.V.M. from the Université de Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and a Ph.D. in health economics. He can be reached at Diafuka.Saila_Ngita@tufts.edu.
