Dr. Katherine Prager

Wildlife Infectious Disease Ecologist for STOP Spillover

Dr. Katherine Prager is a Research Associate in the University of California, Los Angeles Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Dr. Prager serves as a Wildlife Infectious Disease Ecologist for STOP Spillover. She is a disease ecologist and wildlife veterinarian with 22 years of experience using a multidisciplinary approach to study the ecology of infectious disease in wildlife host populations. She brings veterinary skills, the knowledge necessary to conduct successful field-sampling programs, and an understanding of disease processes on a physiological level. Dr. Prager holds both a D.V.M. and a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of California, Davis. She can be reached at kcprager@ucla.edu.
